Renting a consultation room or studio space at the Active Birth could be just what you need to enhance your work and your success. We have a superb London venue which is light, airy, spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The flooring has been updated recently with a wooden floor in the large studio and a new carpet in the small studio/treatment room. People often comment on the remarkable energy and conducive atmosphere of the rooms for group and healing work.
Large windows allow plenty of natural light to stream into the rooms. The building is warm and well heated in winter, and unusally for London, there is no direct contact with the street so ambient sounds are natural, coming from the adjacent park.
We are close to public transport by bus and underground, with adequate on-street parking in the vicinity.We have most of the equipment you could need for large or small groups, individual consultations or complementary treatments.
These are simply wonderful rooms for yoga, meditation, tai chi or any other group work or healing/teaching activity. This includes sound work, as the walls are solid and the building is usually empty in the evenings and on weekends.
Large studio
The large studio at the Active Birth Centre is a rectangular open space (16 metres by 9 metres) with high ceilings, tall windows and no columns. It benefits from being a self contained unit. It is well lit with dimmers and has fans and heaters. There are chairs, beanbags, gym balls, cushions, mats and a whiteboard. The room is decorated and in light neutral colours and the flooring which was carpeted has been has been replaced recently by a beautiful wooden floor.
Audio visual: TV/ Video, DVD player, CD player, and a large ‘pull down’ screen attached to the ceiling.
There is an adjoining kitchen area (6 metres by 5 metres) with tea making facilities.
Treatment room/small studio
Approximately 8 metres x 8 metres, the room has two large windows letting in plenty of natural light. It is tastefully decorated and carpeted in neutral colours for†a warm, natural feel and light energy. There is a state of the art massage table/treatment couch in situ.

* Small groups seated on beanbags or chairs
This room is occasionally available for half-day or full day rentals on weekends only. There is a nearby small waiting area and a kitchen with tea-making facilities which is shared with neighbouring units during the week but usually will be for your sole use on weekends.
